  1. Hey everyone! I came here looking for some advice. I am a pre-nursing student that plans to petition an start the nursing program next Fall 2014 semester. By that time I will be completely done with all my pre-reqs. I have a 3 yr old daughter who will be 4 by the time I start the program and I just found out I am pregnant with my second and due this December . I am going to be 22 in July. Do you think I will be able to complete nursing school? Any advice from mommies already in nursing school? Advantages and disadvantages? Any further advice? Thanks!!
  2. I am a pre-nursing student. I plan to petition toget into the nursing program next January and I would start next fall. I have been offered a job being a scribe in te ER at my local hospital. I want to take this opportunity because I think it would be a great learning opportunity and I want to eventually work in the ER. If I except this job I have to work for a minimum of one year, per a contract. But I have also been offered a position as a CNA in the same hospital on the med/sur level. I could work both but I have school, EMT class, and a 2 year to take care of. I need advice of what to do????
  3. Hello everyone! I am new the site :) I am currently doing my pre-reqs to petition to get into the nursing program. Right now I am enrolled in A&P1 and plan to petition after this semester to get it. If I get accepted I will start next spring. So my question is, if all goes as planned and I get accepted which class would be easy to take in the summer? Micro or A&P 2? It would be online. I want to get the bio classes out of the way so that I can fully focus on the nursing classes when I get in.
