I feel so embarrased and feel like harrased...
I'm sure the poor guy was extremely embarassed. I think if he intended to harass you, he would have made some innuendo instead of covering himself up. I have had my fair share of patients who exposed themselves. Some were confused patients and some were not but in the nursing field we definitely have to have a thick skin. I'm by no means saying you deserve to be harassed by a patient but in this particular case I don't think he did anything to you, or there might be more to the story you didn't share. Sounds like he was extremely embarassed.

California new grad RN planning to work in Australia
Know this post is originally from a while back but I'm curious if you ever ended up moving to Australia to work? I graduated in California and had a difficult time finding work so I moved to North Dakota for an RN poisition. I maintain my CA license but I've been contemplating after a year of experience moving to Australia to work for a year or two. Just curious how your experience of transfering might have gone?

Going to be working at st George hospital in sydney
I know this was back in October but I'm a nurse from the US who is contemplating moving to Australia to work and would love any advice. How was the applying process and are you still discouraged at the hospital you got hired at?

Note quite a new grad, not quite experienced
I know this is an older post but I was curious if you were able to find a job with less than a years experience. I'm currently thinking of doing the same. I graduated in CA but moved to ND for experience and am contemplating applying for jobs back.home before I fully reach a year. Any advice would help!

7 months of RN experience
I know that this post was a while back but I was curious if you were able to find work in CA with less then a year experience or if you stayed behind to finish out your year. I'm originally from CA but moved to get into a new grad program out of state to get experience but I ultimately want to move back and potentially before I've been here for a year. I know UCSD in San Diego considers you a CNII after 6 mos as well as UCI in Irvine, but I'm just curious how hard it might have been to get hired? Thank you for any advice!

Possibly moving back to California. Are there experienced RN jobs for less than 1 yr?
I'm currently a registered nurse in north dakota. I graduated from an ADN program in Orange County, CA back in May of last year, got my license in June and looked for a New Grad job without success for 2 mos before deciding to relocate. I got a new grad job in North Dakota and have been here for over 6 mos now but am hoping to apply and move back to California for many reasons. I'm curious if it is possible to get an experienced RN position with less than a year experience?? Any advice would be appreciated!
