  1. Good for you!! I am proud of you!! I am 46 years old, and just graduated in Jan. and Started working the beginning of March as an LPN, something I have always wanted to do as well! I am so glad I kept my dream and did it, It is a great feeling to get up and go to work knowing that you love your job! It will be a full load for you, but just keep your dream alive and go for it, you will not be disappointed, and study, study, study! Good Luck!!
  2. Just Started working this week, I am working at a cerebral palsy home, it is a great place, and everything I learned in school, is definitely helping now!!! Everything I learned is starting to make more sense now, and how to put it all together! It still is very scary, but I actually got the job the same day I got my license, could not have worked out any better!! Love being a nurse!! Good Luck to you in the future.
  3. Brand new LPN getting $18.50 plus $2.00 shift diff, and $1.50 attendance bonus every week, with great benefits!! Working in a Cerebral Palsy home.
  4. Look at my post!!
  5. I studied the saunders n-clex review book and cd and also mosby's n-clex review book, it is a very intense testing, but if you study and stick with it you will be fine, just go take it as soon as you can after graduation. Everything starts to come together about the end of the second and beginning of third semester, things start to make sense. I also got a job the very same day i part the nclex so I could not have had a better day, make sure you eat breakfast, and relax the day of your test, keep positive thinking and you will do fine, 8 of the students from my class took it and we all passed so far, theres about 10 more to go yet.You just have to review and start paying very good attention in class now and learn whatever you can because the n-clex test is not a test that you can cram for, Order the saunders book and use it through school to refer to and study from it will also help you with your finals!! I hope you all have a great time and enjoy it, Good Luck!!!
  6. I did it!! I am officially a licensed practical nurse!! Yippeeee
