Thank you for your comments. it is very heartbreaking and discouraging but I must deal with the actions of my past. It looks horrible on paper and I know that. I don't remember leaving the scene (the doctors believe i went into schock). I am nothing like what my background portrays me as and it is very hard to prove that based on the evidence at hand. the recruiter fought for my hire but the legal department denied ill have to keep on trying and know that God will place me where he needs me.
No, I wasn't drunk. It happened in 2003. i left the scene of the accident. it was designated a misdemeanor and it was on my application so it wasn't a surprise. they told me that even though it was on the application.... combined with the speeding tickets it made me "at risk" so therefore, they were "retracting their offer for employment".
I just got hired for a position at banner and my background failed due to a car accident and a few speeding tickets. I have my license. How can i be granted my license by the board after a review and still denied employment? Am I going to have to pick another career field? Is every hospital or facility going to deny me. I am so discouraged right now Any thoughts....
