  1. Recent Grad, But No Job!!

    Havnfun posted a topic in First Year After Licensure
    I graduated in May 2005 as an RN, passed the NCLEX in August and am now looking for a job - with no success. I have been told by the area hospitals that all "new grads" should start in an internship program. Unfortunately, the next programs don't start until January 2006 and I need a job NOW! I have also tried nusring homes, doctor offices, etc. but all want you to have experience and of course, how can you have experience, when no one will give you a job. It's a no-win. My family and I are frustrated and I wonder if anyone has any good advice on how to proceed. Thank you very much. MP
