  1. if your endorsing (or you already have a license from a different state and are now applying for CA's) its $100 but 50 extra if you want the temporary too. The fingerprints fees vary whether you get the fingerprint card (which is cheaper, but takes longer to process) or you livescan for fingerprinting and also the way you choose to get your out of state RN license verifyed. So currently with everything mine has cost me about $200.
  2. Has anyone applied for a CA rn license via endorsement?? and if you so about how long did it take for your license to get approved? Also has anyone had the temp. license and if so who will take those? Some hospitals wont approve of them
  3. also, so livescan fingerprinting isnt available in Hawaii?? We have it on the east coast bc i used it for my md license..... so if hawaii doesnt offer it that may be a problem
  4. So I think you just need to look for a livescan fingerprinting place in your area and just take the required CA forms to them. This should be fine. I just moved here from MD and went to livescan in CA, but the paperwork that you need is on CA board of nursing website. The livescan place will give you a copy to mail in with your CA license application. I would do the livescan anyway bc the cards could take up to 2 months to process ihere the livescan is complete within 2 weeks.
