  1. i can vouch for it as well! took nclex rn on 6/28 and did the trick nonstop (literally like a crazy woman) until today when i found out i passed via quick results :) all of my friends who passed this month got the good popup as well. best of luck everyone!
  2. yea, they're up alright. waitlisted as well. blehhhh...
  3. @jrwinney: if i remember correctly, the deposit is due at the end of march
  4. oh and congrats to everyone who got in. for those on the waitlist, don't give up! it's not over yet!!!
  5. i got in for FNP at regis, but i don't think i will be attending. best of luck to whomever will take my spot.
  6. for those dual FNP/CNM hopefuls out there, i just want to let you know that i will not be accepting Vandy's offer (even though it's a great program). best of luck to whomever will get it.
  7. woowww, umass. really?!?! i wonder if they'll wait until after spring break to conduct interviews...so sloooww
  8. i agree with most people that they walked away from the interview unsure of where they stand. i felt the same as well...at any rate, best of luck to everyone and have a fantastic spring break.
  9. im located in boston as well, but didn't receive anything today...
  10. the week is still young, so there will definitely be more interview invites being sent out the next few days. best of luck!! i do clinical research at one of the major hospitals in boston. it will be my second year there this june.
  11. fyi -- the email confirmation for visiting day has been sent out =)
  12. i just got an email invite for an interview this week! this is really exciting! i think applicants will get calls from the admissions office based on other posts, but i got an email because i have no reception at work....
  13. woww, i didn't expect anything from anywhere today since it's president's day. congrats to those who got accepted and best of luck to those still waiting. it seems like not everything was sent out at the same time. i'm also in for FNP/CNM. good luck to all!!!
  14. thanks for sharing! i emailed someone from the admissions dept and this was the reply: "We are still reviewing applications and should be in contact with selected applicants within the next week about interviews. Final decisions are then made by April 1st. Hope that helps!" good luck everyone!!!
  15. @silvrdove: congrats to u, too! i don't know for sure if i'm def attending columbia yet. it's really costly and moving to nyc scares me a bit. will u be attending visiting day? @gglove317: thanks! i applied mainly to schools in the ma area like mgh, umass, regis and northeastern. i think everyone had his/her moments of fear for not getting accepted. i did, too, but i'm sure everything will turn out fine for u. schools don't just look at one or two factors, they look at the complete package. u seem really dedicated to become an NP =) it's only mid feb and we won't be hearing back from everywhere until the end of march, so just hang in there and good luck!
  16. got rejected from BC, too, but got accepted into Columbia (i find that really weird..) what about you, gglove317?
  17. all they told me on wed was that my application was complete, too....
  18. @amandy45: the questions were exactly the same as the ones shazza0001 has listed because i also interviewed for the cnm/fnp track. they also asked why i chose the specialty and would you be willing to travel for clinical rotations. after that they asked if i had any questions. hope that helps and good luck!
  19. got in for FNP. good luck everyone!
  20. had my interview this morning with two very nice women (a faculty member and another one from the FNP dept) and also got some financial aid info. what does the latter mean? does everyone who applied gets it? i asked when decisions would come out, and they told me by march 15th. seems like a looooooong time away.....
  21. im sure u did just fine!! thanks for the info. i really need it hahahaha....good luck with the rest of the process!
  22. thanks for the info heramay22. im applying for the fnp specialty. do you mind sharing with me what kind of questions you were asked during the interviews? any feedback on that process would be great. thanks in advance!!! the waiting part is rather nerve-racking, but hang in there!! we're close to the end =D
  23. @barbaraleev -- may i ask what kind of questions you were asked? and how many people did you speak with? any feedback would be great. thanks!
  24. @heramay22 -- regarding regis, did you call their admissions office and schedule an interview with them? i read somewhere on their website that all applicants are responsible for scheduling their own interviews...did you schedule after they notify you that your application was complete? lastly, when did you get your decision? sorry about all the questions... i applied regular decision and would like to know how the rest of the process is going to pan out.....if you could shed some light, that'd be much appreciated. thanks!!! regarding mgh, someone from admissions told me that decisions would be out 8-10 wks after the application deadline. good luck everyone!
  25. i'm aware that vandy is still holding interviews up until feb 9th...when i emailed them last week, someone told me that interview invites will be sent within the next 2 weeks. there's still time left :)
