  1. Hi, I'm a bit confused about the reapplication for the NCLEX RN exam. Unfortunately, I failed twice, and I'm trying to reapply to take it for the 3rd time. OK, the first time I failed, I sent my application to retake & fees to the BRN CA almost when my ATT expired; I got my eligibility and registered at Pearson VUE and got my new ATT; I took the exam and failed the 2nd time. After talking to a friend, he said that if my ATT is still valid when I want to schedule my next exam, I don't have to reapply to the BRN CA. All I had to do is register at Pearson VUE again and just pay the $200 exam fee. So if my ATT is still valid, do I still have to send my application to retake the NCLEX-RN for CA? I already registered on Pearson VUE back in November 2011, but my request is still "new," so I can't schedule my exam; plus, my waiting period from my 2nd fail is well over 45 days. It's been two months, and my request is still "new."
