  4. I'm hoping I receive mine tomorrow, I need to turn in a two week notice...welll more like a one week notice :/

  8. I got a call Tuesday morning. If I were you, I would call to verify. Idk how many openings they had on telemetry, but someone posted in the forum that they were offered a position on that unit.
  9. @gell0rn I will be at Palo Alto, how about you?
  10. Hey nursetree, I also was offered a position at the VA, so I guess we'll be seeing each other at the program! Congrats!
  11. I'm waiting for my rejection email...I just need the confirmtion although I'm sure everyone has been contacted by now.
  12. Thanks it definitely helps, I assumed people would be contacted Friday.
  13. Hey septemberRN...have you heard of anyone being contacted?? or any of your references being contacted? I hear the interviewing managers had to turn in a name by Friday.
  14. Just wanted to say the individuals I know who got calls, interviewed in Palo Alto.
  15. I'm not sure, the one I spoke to doesn't actually have a date set yet, just a voicemail.
  16. Wow congrats septemberrn! It seems like they are doing things differently this time around. So do you know what to expect after the 1-1 interview?
  17. So I hear they are already contacting people for interviews. But I am curious, what is their hiring process? phone interview>>panel/1-1 interview>>possible job? or do they not do phone interviews?? Anyone ever had a phone interview or panel interview at the VA? How was it?
  18. Hi everyone, I've been lurking the forum for a while and something I've noticed is most people who are getting jobs have 3.5+ GPAs. This is understandable, but is there any hope for those of us who have a 3.0, or even lower?? I'm just curious because I am getting discouraged from applying to certain hospitals (i.e. ucla, ucsd, stanford, etc) for the sheer reason my GPA is only a 3.0... If anyone has any advice, or knows anyone who has obtained an entry level position with a low gpa, I'd love to hear about it! I just need a little encouragement :)
