It was a group interview of 5 of us. I think it definitely gave us a better feel of the professors. They made the interview feel very relaxed so it wasn't too nerve wracking.

Hey everyone! I was also just accepted for the nursing program starting this spring. I went through the interview process and i honestly think it's a great addition to the program. It definitely helps you if you don't have the highest GPA and test scores. It allows the professors to see you as a person rather than just a set of scores. Good luck to you all!

I have a question. I know the UCF nursing website doesn't have a class schedule for us starting in the spring, but do you think we would most likely be taking summer classes?

I just received an email from the College of Nursing saying not to do the immunization forms. It said that it will only be done once you are offered a seat in the school.

I was wondering the same thing. It didn't have anything yet for spring 2013. I'm going to call on Monday to see what we should do.

I'm also applying for the Spring 2013 program at Seminole. I know the deadline is Sept. 14, but I wonder when we will actually get decisions?

I know! I hope I am too! Hopefully we will find out next week!

Oh yeah, I called yesterday and they said they might have decisions out by the end of next week!

I talked to a lady named Dale about the program, and she said that they added 10 extra spots, so instead of only accepting 40 they accept 50. She also said because of them changing to the prereq's having to have been completed, many people didn't qualify so they only have about 100 applicants. So hopefully that means we have a better shot! And with your TEAS score, I'm sure you'll have no problem!

I applied to UWF also for the Fall 2012 semester also. Was your 3.5 gpa your overall GPA or the pre-req GPA?
