    Thanks for the clarification everyone.

Thanks. I'm not preparing for CPNE yet but in between studies I begin obsessing/panicking over it so had to know what this was about.
  3. When the CPNE journals were posted on EC's website, I noticed many people posting about declaring ____ (can't remember the terminology used). It seemed like you could "declare ___" whenever you want to skip something. I'm sure there are rules attached and specific circumstances identified for when this is allowable. What's the terminology and what exactly is that all about? I couldn't find anything about it anywhere else.
  4. NurseCeli--How did you know IT IS ME?!?!?!?!?!? lol. That's too funny. It wouldn't let me take the usernames I wanted so I resorted to cocob. haha
  5. Duh! I put the reply to your post under my own. Still getting the hang of this site. lol.
  6. Best of luck on the CPNE. I get sick just thinking about it even though I'm about 4-5 months away from eligiblity. I don't have any texts for the Lifespan exams. I guess I'll invest in some. Thanks for the heads up and good luck!
  7. That's encouraging! I have to do Health Differences and lifespan 1-3 also. Do you know how tough health differences is?
  8. Three down, five more to go!! Chronicity was another dry subject area that I just couldn't get into. So glad it is OVER! Scheduling Reproductive next.
  9. There's no enrollment fee. Call the main number to the school and tell the that you want to take an individual course(s). You pay $210 over the phone (includes course and book!) and they set you up with an online account over the phone. They say you can get started with the course before the book arrives but the questions are so random you really need the book to begin. I took Music Appreciation. The textbook was the most poorly written I've ever seen. It seemed like it was copied and pasted from other texts by a 8 year old. There are 7-8 exams to take and then a final. Open book sounded like a breeze but the text sucked and the questions were so stupid that you couldn't even use the internet to get a solid answer. I did my best though and ended up with a B. You could get it done in one day if you have no interruptions and are very patient. I was so frustrated with the book I had to do only 1-2 exams at a time. Totally worth it for the time and money though. Best of luck.
  10. Congratulations on passing! My chronicity exam is scheduled for next Sunday.
  11. I just discovered Flashcard exchange and it looks like a great study tool. I google "flashcardexchange and ....chronicity, reproductive. etc." and there's lots of great info available.
  12. I just took the Music Appreciation course through Penn Foster. It took me 5 days to complete the entire class--probably 6 hours total. The textbook was terrible, otherwise I would have completed it sooner. I imagine Art Appreciation could be done just as quickly. It's an awesome deal to get 3 credits (from an accredited institution) in this short of a time period and for that cheap ($210 including the textbook).
