  1. Hi, how hard are her exams. I'm a little scared, our first one is on Tuesday and it covers 4 chapters.
  2. My last name starts with a "B" and they told me I was in the top portion so alphabetical would make sense, but it's not really fair.
  3. I got my Bachelors in Political Science from Georgia Southern and I loved it. I know several nurses that graduated from there and they really liked the nursing program. We've even talked about moving back to Statesboro, I really miss the town. Savannah is less than an hour away too and we had a good time there. I went back for a visit last year and they have a huge new library system and they've got a great recreation center now too. The cost of living there is a lot cheaper than Atlanta and the small town is less overwhelming, plus you can walk everywhere on campus, its all in one big cluster.
  4. I would not go to Phoenix. "For profit" schools just don't have the same reputation that state schools and private colleges have. I have an MBA from Argosy and it doesn't hold nearly the weight that an MBA from a state school would. It would be a big waste of money. I think you should get your ADN from your community college and then get your BSN. A lot of schools now have an online BSN program for current RNs. And it would be much cheaper, Phoenix is way over priced. You might also be able to get your employer to pay for your BSN.
  5. Not yet, I just decided that the hybrid track might work for me. I took the TEAS and I'm on the waiting list at North Georgia.
  6. Great, thank you! **** is my professor too so that is very good to know. Are you a Darton nursing student? I'm thinking about applying for their hybrid program spring 13.
  7. Has anyone taken the online A&P course at Darton? I am starting next week and would love to know how the course is laid out and the work load.
  8. Are there three teirs b/c there are three campuses? One tier for each? Which campus did you want tumbleweeds?
  9. Hi all, I was waitlisted as well. I hope that is a compliment and not a rejection in disguise. Did North Georgia send out rejection letters? I was just told I was in the top portion of the wait list. I'd love to know if anyone finds out how many are on the wait list.
  10. I am in the same boat right now. I plan on applying to Georgia Highlands Spring 13. I am working on getting my CNA at Lanier Tech so that I can work through school. I'm thinking about getting certified in Phlebotomy too. My biggest concern is losing my health insurance. I'm hoping I'll be able to find a job that pays decent, has a flexible schedule, and provides health insurance for me and my family. We have a mortgage and daycare expenses that need to be covered, but one thing I did do is pay off both of our cars so my husband's income can go a lot farther now.
