  1. I am looking for an online RN-BSN but it seems as though all the schools I looked at either had less requirements and were outrageously priced, or there were a million non nursing classes to take. Does anyone have any recommendations? I went to a community college and the only extra credits I took was a humanities class, nutrition and statistics. University of Arlington is cheap but only for the nursing classes. They require you to take 4 history/govt classes and 3 literature classes which are like $300 a credit. Any ideas?
  2. Study the different types of questions, not necessarily any certain material.
  3. Well I saw my license number!!! I'm officially an RN, thank you everyone I couldn't be more excited or proud :)
  4. Thanks everyone, I hope you all are right, i'll post tomorrow when my results are available!
  5. Study the select all that apply kind of questions and priority questions. That is 90% of the questions I got. Just keep doing questions, don't try to cram or study or you will get caught up in trying to memorize and forget the key points
  6. Awe thank you. Well I did the trick only an hour after the test and I got a pop up that stated "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance". Is that the exact message?
  7. what is the "good" pop up?
  8. I'm so worked up, I got over 50% of select all that apply questions. I literally guessed on 90% of them! I had no maternity, dosage calc, or fluid and electrolytes and that is 75% of what I studied! I only got 75 questions and it shut off. I got a B in nursing school and felt pretty confident going in here but I'm sure I failed. I can remember 10 questions at least that I looked up the answer and it is incorrect. I'm so worked up I'm also so worried about being humiliated since my family, friends, and job knows I took it today. I am usually a smart cookie but this test made me feel ridiculously stupid. Please any encouraging words?? I wish I didn't have to wait over 24 hours to know for sure, it's killing me!
  9. I am a student of Hacc and attend class at the Lebanon campus. I am currently taking my A/P 2 and was told by the Lebanon instructor I will have a seat in the RN class of 2013. I got news today that the program in Lebanon and Gettysburg is cancelled and done away with. In Harrisburg, they have a point system. I can apply, (Feb 1st, NEXT WEEK!) to Harrisburg, but I am currently still taking my last class (A/P 2), so they will not give me points for that class. Out of 100 points (max) that takes 16 points away from me right away. I currently have a 3.86 GPA, will I still get into clinicals with an 84/100 points? Please someone that was in the LPN-RN bridge program, tell me the least amount of points they usually consider! I'm going crazy, my entire career goals has just been uproared. Thanks!
  10. Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone has went through or is planning on going through the LPN-RN HACC clinicals. I'm going to be attending Lebanon HACC's clinicals and am sooo nervous. I was wondering about the instructors, is it possible to work? How much time do you spend a week on homework? I have really only worked at a nursing home so I feel I will have a very difficult time in the transition course because I have not used, therefore lost most of my skills. Please give me some words of encouragement!! Thanks!
