  1. Thank you to all! God Bless!
  2. I just want to know what kind of orientation do you have in Med surgical unit for the New RN? Do you have any preceptor who always with you? or you just with a staff RN? Are they organized giving you what to do? Or they were just waiting for you to talk, ask question? Is it just like observation type that you just observe the RN and ask question? thank you so much
  3. Good Luck to all of you. Just pray and God is always Faithful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. My friend used Labagnoy and she passed the CGFNS for the first time. She will take her NCLEX this year but I don't know where she will go for a review. I used Kaplan + Saunders book for NCLEX and I passed for the first try. I did not take CGFNS because I don't need it!. God Bless!!!!
  5. I had an Interview in OR 3 weeks ago. Goshes it's tough! hmm but I think it's not really God's will for me to work there in OR. I am working now in Medical Surgical I love it!!!. Anyways, the Nurse Manager asked me how many times you count the sponges before, at the middle and at the end of operation? How many times you count the clamp, needles? What is the post complication of appendicitis? How many times you get the VS before the patient will be in his room. How you drape the patient? what position if it is general and local anesthesia? ( she asked me different kind of operation hmm I can't remember). How you handle a fussy doctor? hmm I think she asked me more than I remember. good luck to you. And I wish you the best!

  15. Hi! I do not live in Memphis TN but I went there last year (Graceland Memphis TN) Elvis mansion:). It's very beautiful and very Southern. I live here in Mississippi. Hmmm about 6-7 hrs drive. It's about the same as food, people etc. But of course every state is different. But people here in South were very kind, hospitable and approachable. Actually, they call South as "Bible Belt" Good Luck to you. and God Bless you I will be praying for you.
