  1. I work at a busy OB/GYN Private practice. The last patient is scheduled at 4:00 pm. But the Doctor allows a patient to come in past the scheduled time. I'm scheduled to leave at 5:00pm and I am still expected to fullfill my regular duties before I leave. There are other nurses there. I mean it's only going to take another 1/2-1 hour for me to do all this. Management won't do anything about it. Am I suppose to stay past my 40.0 hours? How does overtime work at your job? TIA
  2. It's a very busy office so no one really have the time to show me there. It's not a hospital either.
  3. I'm not a nurse. I'm a Medical Assistant. I got my job in a very unconventional manner. I've been told that I need to learn how to draw blood ASAP. I've looked online but no cigars. Do you guys have any ideas on where I can train for this skill? Thanks in advance
  4. I'm a pre-ADN student. Should I expect this madness in community nursing or travel nursing too? That's where I really want to be.
