  1. Yes, you are correct. The nursing program dismissed me and I reapplied the next semester. By that time I had served my community service for the misdemeanor, but the board still has access to my records. I'm worried that if my school rejected me because of this mark on my record, then other schools will reject me to.
  2. I was in my second semester of nursing school when I was caught was caught in possession of alcohol while underage. My school found out and I was kicked out of the nursing program. I have above 3.0 GPA, but when I reapplied to my the nursing program at my school (state school in Indiana), I wasn't accepted. Should I try to apply to my school's nursing program again? I've looked at other state schools, but not all of my credits transfer. Do you think that those schools will also reject my application because of the Minor Consumption? Would the situation be any different if I applied to a private school? Some schools REQUIRE that prereqs be taken at that school in order to be able to get into their nursing program. I'm also considering just going the way of a community college or Ivy Tech, because I'm worried no other school will accept me.
