hello! i applied to lincoln evening last year and there were 48 seats available and i was denied, i then applied for a second time but this time to the warwick campus for the day program and i was accepted for this fall!! there were 88 seats at the warwick campus this fall semester. I do know that alot of the people that applied to the newport campus got in the first time they applied due to lack of applicants because no-one wants to drive that far.lol most people apply to warwick lincoln and providence; warwick having the most seats available. it also depends on if you want day or evening nursing because then the seats vary. more seats during the day and less seats at night. Just keep your GPA at a 3.2 or above and you should be okayyy wherever you choose to apply :) good luck this fall!

hey all I recieved my orientation packet today and orientation is schedueled for June 18, 2012 at the lincoln campus at 1pm. im sure they will have signs up or something to direct us if we do not know where the room is (jk lol probably not), but i am in for warwick days this fall and i believe everyone has to head to the same orientation from every campus that same day and time :) I look forward to meeting you all on mondayyyyy!!!!!

i recieved my letter in the mail and there is no date for orientation! the date and time for the orientation will be sent to you via ccri email soon!

im pretty sure you will be fine!!! good luck and let us know how it goes! i got my offical acceptance by email from rob G monday morning for the warwick campus and registered online that same day! i am still waiting for my actual letter to come in the mail, they said it should come within the next 2 weeks! good luck all!

i got into the warwick day campus with about 100 points!! a couple a's but mostly b's and one b- !! good luck and redsoxgrl is right, do not get discouraged if you do not get in if you apply to a night nursing or during the off season application periods! i applied to the evening nursing at the lincoln campus last february and there were 48 seats total, sadly i did not get in and then i applied to the same campus when seats opened in august and again didnt get accepted. i kept applying to this campus because it worked with my work schedule. then this past february i applied to the warwick day campus and recieved a letter of acceptance with just making 100 points!

lol!!!!!!!!! well that means we really have to know our crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

does anyone know of anyone who is hiring a medical assistant full time. a friend of mine that works at a doctors office with me has 2 kids and they told her they do not need her anymore. i am trying to help her out because she has become a good friend! if anyone you know is hiring inbox me or leave a post on here with information !!! thanks in advance Marissa

they said we wont be enrolled into nursing one until we attend orientation so i would go talk to them!!!

they said if you had put your BCI in and got your email that it has been submitted to the school then it will take 1-2 weeks to get your offical acceptance and paperwork information including orientation date, books, scrubs mailed to you!!! you should know prior to June but if i were you i would call McGarrys office and leave a voice mail stating your question or an email! best of luck!!

i heard it is going to be in JUNE because they want us to buy our book package to start our reading!

hahah your right about the not so soon part! but same here i got into warwick days aswell i am really excited! i created an event on facebook for all the people who were accepted into the nursing program so we can all meet up prior to orientation! Today i went to the school for an autism speech and i went to the school store afterwards and i was going to get a set of scrubs and a lab coat just because by the time orientation comes the school store will most likely have stuff out of stock knowing my luck! lol and i went up to the cashier and a lady behind her was asking if i got into nursing and if i did to hold out on buying the scrubs and lab coat because the nursing department had come into the store this past week and told them that different styles of scrubs and possibly polos were going to become part of our clinical scrubs (meaning we would have a choice on what to wear). so i advise to hold off when purchusing anything and she said she believes orientation may be in june this year so that people can get a head start on reading materials prior!! let me know if you cant find the event it is under: Fall Nursing 2012 Acceptance Meetup! -Marissa :)

yes!!!!!!!!!!!! lol! supposidly what i know from friends that have recently got into the program is that we send our BCI in and when the school gets it, it then takes about a week before we get our offical acceptance in the mail with paperwork, then after that we then get an email on when the orientation is and i believe its like the first or second week of august! WAITING WAITING WAITING AS ALWAYS!
