  1. just a little correction from the previous response....Barry, Nova and University of Miami does not require an entrance test such as, TEAS or HESI they base on applicants GPA and the interview process, however; University of Miami does a HESI EXIT test after you finish the program and yes as far as FIU you need to take the HESI entrance test and because it is a public state university FIU prefers applicants with an AA ( associate of arts) in nursing to get into their program...as far as which one is the hardest program to get into University of miami is the hardest program to get into but they have the easiest program and curriclum, on the other side Barry and Nova are the easiest program to get into however; they also have the hardest program and curriculum especially, Nova...thats the reason why Barry and Nova are easier to get into because they know students usually start dropping out during the second semester of the program, thats how hard it is...and those who makes it all the way till the end have a very good chance of passing the NCLEX, another reason why both Barry and Nova have the highest NCLEX passing rate in Florida...every school has their own pros and cons you'll just have to figure out what works for you best!!!
  2. is there an entrance test for the BSN program at University of Miami? such as, the HESI OR TEAS test? or do you automically progress to the nursing program as long as you meet the required GPA without having to take any entrance test? any input would be appreciated....
