Can a new grad RN apply for part time jobs?
I'm glad this post was already started. I'm a new grad and I want to work part-time for my first job.

Passed NCLEX-RN, still have not received my license. Help please.
@segaGN Have you tried calling? I called last Wednesday. They told me they had everything, but for some reason nothing had been done. She could not tell me more than that. She told me that someone from the Georgia BON would contact me within 48 hours. Well, no one ever called, BUT I did receive an email today from the GBON with my RN license number!!!! I don't know what happened. Maybe my application was sitting on someone's desk somewhere. Give them a call. Maybe they just need a gentle reminder.

Long Term Acute Care
I'm considering applying for a LTACH. All of this information has been very helpful. Ultimately, I want to work in the ICU. It sounds like a lot of the skills I will learn will be applicable if I did work in a LTAC. Query: do any LTAC require a work commitment?

Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything. When I called I was told to wait a few more days.

Thanks everyone for your answers. It's so hard to get yourself out of the "anxious" mode for so long. You keep assuming the worst. I want to apply for jobs, but I want to have my license number first before doing so.

Thanks for replying. I actually graduated from GBCON in May. I took the NCLEX in July, but did not pass. I took it again in December and passed the second time.

Passed NCLEX-RN, still have not received my license. Help please.
I took the NCLEX-RN on December 20, 2011. I received my unofficial results on December 22nd that I had passed. The Georgia Board of Nursing website has still not been updated. Is anyone else in the same situation? Have any of you December grads received your licenses yet? How long does it take to receive your license in Georgia once passing the NCLEX? Any info you can supply is greatly appreciated.
