Got an admission packet in the mail today. No news is good news, guys! Keep the faith! For those of you that didn't get in, I've been in that boat before. I was denied last year from chapel hill. I was rejected this year from UNC-Gs DNP program and didn't even get an interview at western carolina for their FNP program. Keep your head up and keep pushing forward! Good luck everyone!

Jrntb- congratulations! Did your status online change or did you get an email? Only a package??

I applied AGNP BSN-MSN and I haven't heard either. Redshirt stated their status didn't change because they got wait listed last year...

I'm so sorry to hear this! I went through the same thing last year and am on edge waiting to hear something now...if you don't mind asking, what program did you apply to and how were you notified?

Redshirt- did you get an email or letter first last year? I was rejected last year...I was notified by email to check my status online before I ever got anything in the mail.

Chatted with the admissions counselor from the website: verbatim "Decisions were made Monday. We're working on getting the letters together. Hopefully will be in the mail Thursday/ Friday. You will also get a generated email/post on the site that you applied at."

If I had to guess, probably the dnp. I see they have "MSN" in their name.

Hi redshirt! Back at this again as well. I didn't get in last year and reapplied this year. We will see. Not getting my hopes up this time...hopefully we'll hear by the first of May. it was the end of April last year.

Is anyone out there applying to UNC Greensboro's DNP program for 2016? I received a phone call yesterday setting up an interview on Monday, February 8th. I wanted to start correspondence for any other anxious applicants!

I'm bummed out but still hopeful. I'm still working on my first year of experience. I'm going to reapply to several places next year. Can't ever have enough experience! Good luck to you and thank you for the correspondence!!

Admission decision received. Got an email this morning. Looks like it's a no go this year guys...good luck to you all!

Someone from another post said they received an email this morning. And was accepted! I believe they were pediatric track. Keeping fingers crossed for everyone!

@Tarheel_nurse - they must have been referring to dnp? That's the only thing I can think of. When you spoke with the program director did they give any insight as to when? Still "by May"?

I received an email this past week asking to verify my experience so I assume this means they are reviewing apps. I for one am ready to know! From other forums I've read it sounds like they didn't notify people until first/second week of May last year. Stay in touch!

Has anyone heard anything? This last month is going to be a killer! I got an email from admissions asking to clarify that I would have a years experience by August. I didn't have the specific date labeled on my resume. Maybe this means they are reviewing things!
