loriangel14... do you work as in LTC or in hospital? janfrn.....Have you ever performed direct mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, or do you only perform compressions while waiting for BVM?

A question regarding CPR. If a patient faints in the hospital or LTC, and a nurse is present, do they immediately call the doctor, or does both (call doctor, and perform CPR). Do they perform CPR mouth to mouth or use some sorta other equipments?

Hi Anyone applied for Practical Nursing at Centenniel College? I graduated high school in june 2005, but the website states: Science courses must have been completed within seven years of the program start date I am planning to apply the start date for sept 2012, so that's a bit over 7 years.Does anyone know if this will determine my acceptance. Also, I have a B.Sc in biology, so should I send my University transcript as well along with my highschool one? I have already asked the admission advisor at Centenniel but he states it shouldn't matter the 7 years thing, they won't be that strict if it's a bit over 7 years. Has anyone been placed in the same situation as me? Any advice? Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello I am interested in the 2nd entry at Humber 2012 as well, but was wondering if anyone who applied could answer my question. I have a BSc in Biology, but my overall GPA (over the 4 yrs) i think is slightly lower than 74. BUT the last 2 years, my GPA should be more than 74%, thus, would I be meet the admission requirement?? Also is Bachelor of Nursing the same as Bachelor of Science in Nursing, do students from both programs write the same exam after completing the program?? Look forward to hearing from anyone! Thanks!
