Hello all, I was just wondering if anybody out there could give me some advice on paying for nursing school. I already have financial aid, but it won't be enough for my summer terms. My parents can't afford to help me at all either. I will have a part time job, but I don't think I can save enough for tuition purposes, etc. Has anybody gotten a hospital to help pay for school with a contract to work for them after for a set amount of time? If so, does anybody have any information on hospitals with these types of programs? (In the Birmingham area) Has anybody been in the NAVY RN program? They give you $34,000 over a two year period with a 3 year contract of working as a nurse in the Navy afterward (as an officer? I think?) If so, could anybody give me any insight on this? I'm going to talk to a navy recruiter but want some outside opinions as well. Thank you for any help!
