  1. Hello....I took my test in Dec 2011.....NCLEXPN....I passed......however the way I studied was utilizing Maslow's and the nursing process. When you are being tested for PN they are looking for a "safe" nurse. You are a new graduate and you are not going to know things that the NCLEX would asked and RN. Think of your questions in the way the Kaplan (purple book) shows you. ABC's are first then look at safety if the others don't apply. Know what the question is asking you when it comes to the nursing process, do you need to collect data or do you need to implement something. If you have been in school learning for year to prepare you for this test you know the content just study these tips to help guide you to the answer. Good Luck!!!!
  2. I am not sure if you are taking PN or RN but I took my NCLEX-PN on Dec 27th.....I passed......I think what helped me the most was reading the Kaplan book and learing how to use Maslow's and the nursing process. The way I thought of it was if I have been in school for a year I should know basic content, what I didn't know I used these strategies to guide me to an answer. It worked for me I got 85 questions.
