  1. Hey, I go to the MCI in Virginia Beach. I am in the LPN program. I am just beginning my 5th mod. I wish you luck with getting accepted into the RN program. Each mod is 5 weeks long so it goes pretty quickly. Up to now we have had two classes per mod and during the third mod is when the clinicals begin, at least with the LPN class. The only problem is the teachers sometimes treating you like children. I am 34 years old and sometimes I think they forget that they are dealing with adults. I know they were having problems keeping teacher and we have a new DON now so it is getting better. Overall, I think the program is ok, just lots of information to take in with only 5 weeks to do it in. Again, Good Luck!:)
  2. Melissa, I am starting the LPN program at Medical Careers in Jan 05. How is the program. I have worked as a CNA for many years and I am aware at the work I will be asked to do, but I was just wondering what you thought about the program. I guess you will be graduating in Dec of this year and I want to wish you all the luck in your new career. Crystal
