  1. I wish I could go hourly, because I would be rich. It's the case management work that takes all the time, and it isn't paid any more than a per-visit relief nurse. I would like to go to a per-visit relief nurse status, but it doesn't include any benefits. Does anyone out there get paid extra to case manage?
  2. I just started on my own (after a satisfactory orientation) and I find myself stayng up until 10 or 11 pm just to get the paperwork done. I am working 12 and 14 hours days, and don't even want to know what that turns out to be on a per-hour rate ( I am per diem). As a case manager, I feel I am putting in many extra hours for free. Does it get any better, or is this just the way it is? I'm ready to quit.
