Yay, I was accepted to the Night Program, too! Congrats to everybody!

I have 94.4 this time... so I hope I get in this year! It would be pure craziness not to be accepted!

Hey guys, I applied last year to the Day Program but didn't make it (had 85.9 points)! I'm re-applying this year to the Night Program due to a work commitment, so I suppose it all worked out! Since last year's application I've taken Nutrition, A&PI, and Micro (I have my B.A., but I was missing the science classes)... so I've boosted my points. Fingers crossed I'll start nursing classes in the Fall of 2013. How is everybody feeling about their application? Any current/past Chatt State Night Nursing students have any tips/comments? I'm trying to mentally prepare for how tough it could be!! Good luck to everybody - it's exciting but so nerve-wracking!

Man! I haven't received ANY kind of letter yet... what does THAT mean!? I live in Chattanooga, so the mail shouldn't take longer!!

So has anybody received a reject letter?

I'd think that jice and Smashley get in this time! With my points (85.9), I think I'd rather have FEWER points so I wouldn't be on pins and needles about being on the cusp! I have my B.A., but I'm missing all the bio classes, so that's what's hurting me so badly this time. I'm in Nutrition now (take Anna Pace if you can - she's awesome!), and will take A&P and Microbiology this summer/fall/spring.

Hey fellow applicants (yay, we're done with applying this year)!!! Now that the deadline has passed, and now that we're all waiting in AGONY to hear back... I was wondering if anybody else would want to share their points? I guess it might be silly, but I'm just so anxious to know where we stand! I have a feeling I won't make it this time, but mine are 85.9 - eeek! GOOD LUCK!!

Sooo... I have 85.9 points. I don't think I'm gonna get in though!!

Chattanooga State has been using the TEAS V for the past 2 admission cycles (2010 and 2011), so I doubt the test will greatly affect the 2012 applicant pool and points. Also, the lowest points accepted from 2 years ago was also 86 (actually, 86.4 - a little higher than last year)... so that hasn't changed much either. Unless there's some sort of huge drop/boost in applicant points, it looks like 86-point-something is the magic number.

Hey guys and gals!! I'm also applying to Chatt State's nursing program for this fall. I already have my B.A. but am not sure on how some of my previous classes will transfer. Where can I find which courses count towards the Humanities Elective??? I have A's and B's, so I'm hoping one of my A classes can count!! THANK YOU... and GOOD LUCK!!
