  1. Hello!! Congrats on making into the RN program @ ChSCC!! You are going to do well. I have just finished up the first year of the RN program. You definitely should get the book "Dosage calculations: Made Easy!" if you are bored with the book you have. Also, you will need to buy a cheap stethescope & pin light. You will not be issued these items from the program. Many of my classmates have purchased Littman II scopes at a hefty price but I suggest a cheap Prestige brand one as they can get lost easily. You will need to buy some comfy white sneakers to go with your orange and blue uniform. Also, get a closed clipped-board (you can find some great ones at Wal-mart). Everything you will need as far as books can be found at the ChSCC book store and online but I wouldn't get them now. I would just focus on the dosage calc test as it's what will determine if you stay in the program. Don't stress too much. They will consume you. It's not worth it. Enjoy your break, sleep and spend time with your friends/family. You life is about to change. Good luck!
  2. I tried looking up the group on facebook but couldn't find it.
  3. I got my letter yesterday. Woot!
  4. Yes you do! The minimum points accepted (this is excluding the waiting alternates of 20) was 86.25. I think you will get in.
  5. First off, I talked to the nursing office secretary today and she said that the mailed the letters out this morning. Also, there is no wait list.
  6. That must mean that they are new instructors. I had that problem trying to get information on some of the instructors I have now. I would ask around at the school.
  7. I haven't heard about any of those teachers but you can find out a a lot about teachers on ratemyprofessor.com.
  8. Maybe it would be better if I found you instead?
  9. If you can't find me (i've been told I am difficult to find) then you can find me on the friends list at Chatt State facebook page.
  10. Let's be friends on facebook. my name is Rachael Farris
  11. I talked to the nursing secretary today and she said they were making their decisions today and sending out notifications tomorrow. Good luck!!! Though, I don't think you need it.
  12. I certainly hope so...this waiting is super irritating.
