  1. Great! How did it go? We are in the same group I think.
  2. They speak to you in a group at first then take you individually for the interview process and advisement.
  3. No you do not pick your section. They already have a section assigned for you.
  4. It is not hard to get to campus without a car. There are several buses that come to campus. There's the N16, N35, N45 and N51. You have to find out which bus is best for your route. you could check the mta website.
  5. Hi 2years2rn! It was not bad. It took about an hour. We were all in this room and they handed out a packet with information that you need about books, uniform, etc. then you go in another room where they advise you and then they give you a registration slip. They didn't give us an essay. They only gave us a scenario and then we had to answer what would we do in that situation. It is nothing to worry about. I am in section J2. Let me know how it goes tomorrow and what section you are in. Good Luck!
  6. Thank u Jodi. Everything went well. The interview process was not that long. Everything was about 1 hour. I got section J2. U will receive your packet and registration slip when u go. They also ask two questions based on a scenario thats all. Its not that bad. Let me know how yours go and what section u are in. Good luck to u.
  7. you are welcome Juliansmom. If you have anymore questions you could always ask me.
  8. @ Juliansmom The NUR courses are required once you get into the program. You need A&P 1, Mat 102, English 101, PSY 203 to be completed to gain admission into the program. There are also other required courses that you need to take for nursing but they are not prerequisites to get in. It is best to take them in advance because once you get into the program the workload would be heavy.
  9. @ Jodi...I will definitely let you know how it goes. @Juliansmom......The application is twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. To gain admission to the fall semester you have to apply the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th week of March I believe. They do not require any entrance exams. All you need is the prerequisites.
  10. Is anyone that has been accepted going to the interview on monday the 12th? I heard the interview is not hard. They first talk to everyone in a group and then you have to write an essay. Then they might ask you a few questions then after that you get your class to register. They also tell you about uniforms, books, etc...
  11. Congrats to everyone that got in the program for Jan 2012. I got accepted in the program also. I also got in with a 3.5 gpa but I had all my co-requisites done.
  12. Hi I have also been tentatively accepted for Spring 2012. I have the interview on Deceber 12 at 12:30. I read some of the other forums from current NCC students in the nursing program. You should read them. They give a lot of information about the program there.
