Thanks for the advice! Man, it would be awful it that happened but it would be hard to imagine he being happy with me paying his way.

Thanks for all your comments! He's not real thrilled about the idea but would do it for me if I really wanted it. He currently is working towing postal trucks and at first I thought maybe he could just work with a temp agency but that pretty much just leaves him with odd factory or construction jobs since he doesn't have a degree. I want him to come...it makes me sad to think about doing it without him but I fear if I stay then we'll get married (as we've talked about) and then there will be kids, and the next thing you know I never see anymore of the world except the occasional 5 day road trip with the family.

I was wondering if anyone has started their travel career and taken their significant other with them. I am very interested in doing so but wondering what type of work he is going to be able to do if were moving around a lot. He's not the type who wouldn't work and quite frankly I don't want to pay all of his bills anyway but I do want him to come along. Any tips or recommendations for me??
