  1. I was referring to that ScottE regarding the negative post. I have been a Nurse for two years and med surg is not for me. Thank you to everyone for the advice. I am going to start applying for a position in another area and not let my pregnancy hold me back. God bless everyone.
  2. Thank you to those of you with positive remarks. I appreciate your input. To the rude comment above - I agree that not many people wake up saying "yay I get to go to work today," but being miserable is another story. I hope you treat your patients with more compassion than you displayed here.
  3. I'm worried I will get passed by for jobs because I am pregnant. I'm not worried about health care because my husband covers me. My hospital only lets us use pto time and after that we are on our own. So should I just apply to places and not mention my pregnancy on interviews?
  4. I am currently working on a med-surg/tele floor and I hate every second of it! I spend my days off dreading the days I work. I am almost in tears on my way to work. I was in the process of looking for a new job when I found out I was pregnant. I am now 14 weeks and I can't bear the thought of 6 more months at this job. I was thinking of looking for home health or some other kind of temporary work to get me through my pregnancy. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
