Hi my name is Chris, i'm a first semester nursing student and I'm new to allnurses.com. =) that being said, this is my first post. Anyways, nursing school is tough! I was aware of all of the studying, and reading but I never realized how much time management plays a big role in nursing school. I'm a person who likes routine, and Nursing school is everything but following routine. Sacrificing alot of time, like giving up time to workout in order to read the 50 chapters assigned, or give up hanging out with friends on weekends in order to work on your care plan... everything is completely thrown out of wack for me and I'm having a hard time adjusting =/ and on top of that I work a 12 hour nightshift PRN. I passed my first two exams (yay!) but then failed my third one (boo) by four points... it's been a downer for me ever since. Feel like a failure, and studying is hard for me now, I guess I'm afraid that I'll fail the next one as well...
