  1. Hi there! I have not applied yet. I am planning on upcoming application period as well. Are you applying to both palomar and miracosta?
  2. HavasuSun, I'm sure you will get it. :)
  3. June760, did you get an A in all your science classes?
  4. HavasuSun, Did you apply at both Mira Costa and Palomar? I hear that Mira Costa will send a letter via snail mail... Not sure about Palomar.
  5. Thanks June. I didn't realize you wrote me back! Yea, Miramar is a bit far. I'm in Oceanside...
  6. I haven't applied yet. I still need to take Micro in the fall and then I can finally apply. I'm trying to get find out how many points people are getting to get in to the program at Mira Costa and Palomar. You should be golden with 84!!! Did you take Micro at Palomar or Miracosta? What did you get in Micro?
  7. Did you take Micro Biology at Palomar? If so, who was your instructor??
  8. I am curious to find out as well. Please keep me posted to see what if you get in. How many points did you have, if you don't mind me asking?
  9. Hi! I am almost done with my pre-reqs and I can apply for the RN program real soon! However, points are really concerning to me and wanted to know how many points people had, in order to get in to the program at Palomar and Mira Costa. And if you can, could you please provide me with the hours at school? Thank you so much!!!
  10. Can I ask what your total points were to get in to Mira Costa???
  11. I went and talked to a counselor at Palomar College and she said that if you are looking in to transferring to Cal State San Marcos, don't go to Kaplan because none of their classes are transferable and Cal State won't accept you. Also, the students that attend Kaplan and transfer to Palomar for their RN program, they don't do too well in their RN program. I have spoken with a couple of people at Kaplan... they said it'll be about $30,000 for LVN... I think I will just take the long route... Thank you for your time though! I really appreciate it!
  12. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Kaplan College. I want to attend Kaplan but from my understanding, none of their classes are accredited so you would have to take most of the classes over again once you are done with that school and transfer to MiraCosta or Palomar College. I'm not sure paying $30K is worth it? People are telling me not to do it but I think it's better than being on the waiting list for 5 years to become a RN or 4 years to become a LVN... Any info on Kaplan would be greatful!:redbeathe
