Do we choose "WBT for Nursing Students" for the EPIC Training? Not sure if there was a specific one for LBMMC because my screen is different than the one on the instructions after logging in and completing the HIPAA exam. And for those taking summer classes, are we supposed to get 1 or 2 transcripts (1 for admissions, 1 for the school of nursing)? Is there a deadline to give them the transcripts? Thanks

It is silly to have us pay just for an extra month. They should have told us to make it start later. I had mine start August 15 but it says "Approved until July 16, 2013" on my health tracker. Guess it doesn't even matter what my actual malpractice insurance document says since I will have to renew it before July 16th next year for the schools approval.

If I don't get my results from my titers back tomorrow then July 30th would be when I review those and get all the immunizations I need since CSULB only gives immunization shots on Mondays and Tuesdays. I would have so many missing document forms prior to July 30 but on that exact day I would have everything done. A lot of mine are still pending school approval. I think I will just ask CM when the exact time everything is due to save myself a lot of trouble. @Victor Thanks, I was thinking how silly it would be to fill out all those missing document forms saying "I will have it uploaded by the end of today" As for the Flu shot, I already uploaded a missing document form and they approved it.

For the Physical Exam form, we can put "In Progress" for the titers and vaccinations that we have not received yet since those will be checked anyway right? I am cutting it close to the deadline and my physician takes awhile to get papers done, so I was going to request for him/her to write "In Progress" for all of the titers and vaccinations since I will be getting those results and vaccinations later. Also, do we have to have our MagnusHealth Portal completed by 11:59 PM on July 29 and have all of it uploaded BY July 30, or can we still upload things that day and have it all done by 11:59 PM July 30? Any comments would be helpful :)

I don't think we have to notify them until we have the actual final grades for the class. I think once the courses are over, we can bring our official transcripts from SBCC to them (CSULB SON) and then drop our pharm/patho/nutrition classes from our schedule.

Why did they put August 15 on the To Do list then? -facepalm- I guess I have to call and get that fixed, hope they don't make me purchase another one.

I purchased the malpractice insurance certificate through the NSO website to begin on August 15 (date given on the To-Do check list). However, when I looked back at the notes I took at orientation I wrote down to make it begin July 16th. Can anyone confirm which date we select for when the coverage begins?

Since we are starting in the Fall 2012, we will complete semester 3 and 6 in the summers. Semester 3 includes critical care nursing and psychiatric/mental health nursing. So I guess we will have 6 weeks for each of those in the summer for 2013.

I saw that too, but I am pretty sure we DON'T have to have it done by orientation. I think they just want us to bring records/forms in case we have any questions about them. I've only uploaded my driver's license so far and still need to do my titers, as well as the CPR class.

Oh I see, have you done any capstones yet? And another question; for these steps for the Magnus Health Portal: 18. Go ahead to the “Driver’s License Expiration Date” text answer requirement and click on the blank space next to the requirement to fill in the text answer. 19. Follow the exact instructions in the italicized description just below the requirement in filling in the text answer. 20. Once you’ve completed the text answer click “save” in the bottom right corner of your tracker. Where is the text answer thing? My records already attached to the Current Driver's License requirement but I dont see any text answer [?] All I see is "edit medical document properties" o.o

Woot! I was able to register for SBCC's Pathophysiology today. Started at #8 on the waitlist a month ago. Ordered my books too :) I am relieved!

I still haven't heard back from them, so weird.

I submitted my intent to enroll before admissions decisions were sent out. Then I declined my spot to go to CSUS but I still got the email to register for orientation. Should I just disregard it? I emailed the SON already and they know I'm not not accepting the offer, but do I have to let admissions know?

It is interesting how late people are getting into the program. Why not just send them at all once!

Yeah it did, because that email responded to me saying my hold was lifted. But I actually registered before I got the email because I didn't know they would notify me

I did both. On Tuesday I emailed the prerequisite people. They never did it. I emailed the HIT dept. this morning and by 2-3 pm I was able to register. I'll PM you the email you should send it to

I think my application just fell off the face of the earth or something. Maybe they just said they are "working on it" because they are still processing others' including those who declined, or didn't turn in their intent by a deadline, etc. Hope it's good news for you Darkster :)
