Describe any therapeutic nurse-client relationship experience you've had?
And no, this is not an assignment. People like to assume a lot, don't they? If you have nothing relevant or heartwarming stories to share, just don't post anything. Thank you :balloons:

WOW, are all these people that answered are NURSES???? I cant believe you guys don't have or can't think of any therapeutic relationship you've had with your patients. Well, I'm a newly grad nurse and read alot of articles about nursing. So, I am used to saying the "client". It is disappointing to read that there is no stories to share. WOW

NURSES! Anyone know the insulin type 1 diabetes medications, by heart?
HI everyone, I am trying to google but having trouble. Anyone know the complete insulin type 1 medications by heart? such as the short acting, long acting.... etc.. humalog... etc?? I really want to know all of the short acting, intermediate and long acting insulin medication names and their peak and duration. I want to know when I can give it, for example, short acting for 15-30 minutes peak of time,... therefore I have to give the meal 15-30 minutes after I give the insulin. Please help! LPN/RPN leadership role
Wow, this is exactly what I needed.:redbeathe Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! I will think about your advice during my interview and I will keep this in mind. I think that it is so true that, team work is the key of it all. I believe helping each other and respecting each other are the key to a good shift, after all, we only have one goal which is to provide the best possible care for our patients. When I was doing my pre-grad placement, I help a lot of the PSWs and they liked me a lot. I appreciate every little thing they do and they also help me too!!! which feels so great.... I love working with people who understands the power of team work. I am a very easy going person, friendly and nice... I always listen all the time and have a good communication skills. I hope that the person interviewing me sees my potential and my passion for nursing. Goodluck to me! :) Thanks so much for your reply. God bless :redbeathe

LPN/RPN leadership role
Hello, I have an interview this week and I am just wondering if you guys can help me or give me an advice. I know that they will ask me about leadership role since I know that I will be supervising the PSWs/Nursing assistants too. Since the RN will only be there in day shift, I might be in charge in the evening shift where it is just me and the PSWs. I am a newly licensed RPN/LPN and I am just wondering if you guys can give me advice regarding the leadership role, what to do? What I can delegate? How to be a good leader without having issues (because I am newly grad and some of the PSWs there probably have many years of experience).. please help!! THANK U SO MUCH!!!!!

Rpn interview questions
Hi nurses!!!! I am a newly grad and licensed RPN! I am just wondering if you guys can give me tips about my interview (especially for those who are experienced!!! :) ) I have an interview this week and it is a long term care. It is only less than 30 residents and I am just wondering what questions they will ask me? since there is only one rpn in charge per shift, and the rest are PSW and there is only one RN which is in the morning or day shift only. Can you guys help me, any ideas of a possible interview questions? Will they ask me questions like... knowing how to supervise the PSWs since there could be times when I am in charge? There was one question that my friend said that they might ask... "if there you notice that 2 PSWs are fighting/arguing.. what would you do?" I was thinking to talk to them in a calm way and listen to both side of the stories and try to meet in the middle, like resolve the problem where 2 of them agrees.. is that correct? if not, PLEASE HELP!!!!!! thank you!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLIES IN ADVANCE :)))))
