  1. I am currently working at SVBGH as an NCP I been there going on 2 years now. I went to ITT Tech and talked to them about their nursing program and took the HESI to get in to the program and passed. But the program is 27 months thats why im kind of on the edge about attending. I have heard alot about MCI. I have heard that MCI's RN program is only 16 months. That would be great for me because I wanna get in there and get out and began my career in as little time as possible. The only thing about MCI is that many people have had to quit there jobs because the work load was just too much. I agree that the program is very fast paced so their is alot to cover in such little time. I mean alot. But I have my own apartment and many bills to pay. SO financially I am not stable enough to risk haveing to quit my job to go to school. What should I do???
  2. Itt- Tech is expensive. Some people are talking about MCI being a better suited school than Itt- Tech but MCI RN program is only like 16 months and ITT's is 27 months. Yea MCI is a fast paced program and you graduate quicker but I would rather take the time out and take a longer program than to rush and complete something. They say that MCI is only like $44,000. But I went and did the HESI and admissions stuff for ITT and their program is like $51,000. Im starting to have second thoughts beacuse that is just way to expensive. For ITT you so not have to have any pre-reqs. But do you have to have any for MCI?
