  1. Good luck to all of you who are preparing to take your NCLEX exam. DON"T expect it to be EASY, just be prepared! Don't over analyze the questions, remember ABC's, review pharmacology, standard precautions, and LAB values. Most of all, take your time and think through each question. I took the exam for the first time 10 months after graduating and passed with 75Q. Saunders cd and kaplan review book (I borrowed the text from the library) were the material I used to study
  2. Just found out that I indeed passed my NCLEX exam! My advise is to take your time to read each question carefully.
  3. I had taken my exam on 11/17, 30 mins after completing the exam I logged on to the Pearson Vue website to do the "trick." I recieved a message stating that... This candidate has previously passed this exam, a new appointment cannot be rescheduled." I didn't know what to make of this, could it be that I really passed with 75 questions after having graduated 11 months ago and hardly studying for this exam? Today I logged on and was able to receive my "quick review" results and I am proud to say that I am an RN !!
  4. I had taken my NCLEX exam on 11/17/2011. I had completed the exam with 75 questions!! What makes my situation different is that I had graduated 12/2010. What did I do to prepare for the exam? Saunders, Kaplan audio (which I had downloaded on my mp3 player). Overall, I believe that knowing what the NCLEX is looking for makes all the differences in the world!! Remember ABC, Maslow and the danger words like "most" "first" or "least." Also, brush up on pharmacology. Lastly, take your time and read the questions CAREFULLY and reason the q'S OUT in your head (YOU ALWAY DO THIS DURING CLINICALS). I had completed about 3000 questions on the Saunders CD and averaged 65-80% on tests I had taken. Be sure to read all RATIONALE for the questions (this will help you a lot!). Have faith in yourself that you can do this!! I am an RN
  5. Just finished my exam, 75 Q's which took me 1 hour 45 mins. Worried as I didn't have any math for meds Q's??
