    Hello! I am a student at IU-Bloomington. After two years of trying to decide what degree to pursue, I have finally decided that I want to get into nursing. However, I will admit that my grades up to this point have not been competitive. I still have many of the prerequisites to complete, but as of now, I only have a 3.0 GPA. I believe that the admissions staff looks mainly upon the GPA of the nursing prerequisites over the cumulative GPA. Do any of you know if this is true? Also, what are some tips that you have for me? Thanks!

  2. ASN or BSN?

    Hello, I am very interested in becoming a PICU RN. I am getting ready to transfer from IU to Ivy Tech next fall to pursue a degree in nursing. In order to get into the PICU unit, do you suggest that I earn a ASN or BSN degree? If everything goes well, I would also like to eventually get my Master's degree too. What do you think? Thanks!
