  1. It's a group. It's public so you should be able to search for it. If you still can't find it look me up chantelle Lamountain.
  2. I think I was able to get the group working on facebook. It's called "simmons direct entry MSN class of 2015"
  3. Should we make a facebook group or something? I tried to get one started, but because I had no one to invite, I wasn't able to. I will be taking the biochem at Simmons too.
  4. Last year Simmons sent out the decisions in three waves. I guess there were over 300 applications so they just randomly divided the applications into three stacks and sent out the decisions that way. I got my financial aid award package in the mail three days ago, and to be honest I'm a bit overwhelmed/ confused. Is the program really going to cost $82,042 for the first year? I'm kind of confused where this number is coming from--- when I did out the cost/ credit ($1,164) x the number of credits for the first year (35) I got $40,740. Where is this "NEED: $82,042" number coming from!? I don't need on campus housing. -Chantelle
  5. wpolorocker, I'm glad that the admissions office said two semesters of gen chem would suffice. It's sort of strange actually; Simmons doesn't offer a "gen chem II". As an undergrad you take gen chem and orgo I as a freshman, Orgo II and QA as a sophomore. When I was applying to other schools I was worried I would have to take an actual gen chem II if the orgo didn't count as a second semester of chemistry. Have you heard from any schools yet? Do you have a first choice? Best of luck!!! Chantelle
  6. Hey @Lydiakbryant & @Jessram! I'm really surprised there aren't more Simmons applicants posting on here! I graduated from Simmons in January of 2011 with a BS in psychobiology. I was accepted into the program for summer 2011 entry, but ending up deferring my acceptance until this year. I've lived in Boston for almost 6 years now, and lived off campus for 3.5 of the 4.5 years I was at Simmons. I really hope you guys both get in, and would love to talk more about anything. I don't really check this site often, so I don't know how capable of carrying a conversation on here I am. Email me!!! Chantelle [email protected]
  7. Is there anyone out there applying to the direct entry MSN program at Simmons? I will be attending the program beginning this summer (2012). I went to Simmons for my undergrad, so I've been living in Boston for 6 years and am well-aquainted with the area. I currently live in Brighton (about a 15 minute drive from the campus). I would love to talk to anyone applying to the program!!!! Chantelle [email protected]
  8. Hey everyone, I will be attending the direct entry FNP program at Simmons this coming summer. I applied to the program last year, but ended up deferring my acceptance until this year. I graduated in January 2010 from Simmons with a BS is psychobiology. My undergraduate experience at Simmons was phenomenal, and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to attend graduate school there as well. I would love to talk more with anyone applying to Simmons! Good luck everyone! Chantelle [email protected]
