  1. Hey Jenks7....I know what you are going through, but with this news, you are definitely closer for releaf than you are thinking of right now. Being alternate #1 means that you have already been selected but just that you are one short of the number of positions allotted. So someone has to drop out before you can get a position, and most of the time people do drop out or have a change of mind. So continue to hang tight and we are all praying for you to be with us in August. I hope I help. But also someone in this forum will be of more help, as they were alternate also. Take care and God bless.
  2. Samm0705...I got your pm and I pm you back. Thanks again for showing me how to pm.
  3. So how do they im again? So that we can im FB info
  4. I do understand where you are coming from, but it is always a good idea to put gloves on when touching a patient as you may not know what is on their skin. Or while helping them, something else may come up that can expose you to the risk of contamination. So always make it a practice to clean hands, put gloves on and off, then clean hands again.
  5. To ATLRN0828I am just doing a small ceremony, but in front of my current Reserve unit. We will see how it goes.
  6. Well I dont know how much progress is this, but my clearance is done, and I am commissioning this weekend. I am an active reserve and my clearance was my 10 years reinvestigation and active duty is using it. Good lock to everyone in this process.
  7. ATLRN0828.... I saw the prices when I visited the OTS website under COT incoming required items. My advice is, people should visit that site to know the COT expectations. I hope this will help.
  8. To ATLRN0828.... Yes I have signed the acceptance, and we have done some of the other stuffs otherthan the swearing. We may do that some time this month. I will keep your updated. Any one seen the cost of the uniforms? Around $ 2000

  11. To kdazzle.......I am so sorry to hear this and I hope that you succeed on your next try. I agree with both you and your recruiter, that you should definitelly try again; and it is also possible that you were non-select because you are still in school. But I am so glad to hear you say that you will try again because that is the best thing. Good lock to every thing you do and God bless.
  12. To ATLRN0828That should be awesome, especially coming from Ohio. You may be right about different areas receiving information earlier than others, so just hang in there, your day is fastly approaching. So good lock to everyone.
  13. I also have my assignment and COT information now. I am going to Robins AFB, and my COT is Aug 27th. Good lock to everyone awaiting result, we will be glad to hear your happy moments.
