Baylor FastBacc 2012
ACCEPTED!!! Let me know if any of you decide on Baylor. I think that's my final decision. I plan on taking out loans and getting help from my father in regards to payment. Looking forward to actually seeing you all in person in the near future!!!!!! CONGRATS, GUYS!!!

Baylor FastBacc 2012
Oh, wow! I missed so much! Sugarmagnolia018, if that's true, CONRATS!!! That's so awesome :) I just checked my page and it still says "Application incomplete...Required: Admission to the school of nursing" I didn't fare as well on my HESI. I had a cummulative score of an 86 (Math-94, cummulative english- 87) I'm beginning to worry. Oh, and welcome, er2012! We need to hear from Ranibu. It seems like they have the acceptance in the bag. If their account has an approval, then we're out of luck.. Hahaha, wow, I think we're over reacting a little!!! It's only been a couple of weeks, maybe we should give it some time. But I agree with you, Financetohealth. This site and baylor.edu have been making me more anxious than I should be!

My adviser at UTA said that they changed the law to were students who have taken over 150 credit hours in one state funded school will have to pay out of state tuition for every credit after that or for their second degree taken at another state funded school. In addition to that, she said we would most likely not qualify for financial aid grants and more likely to qualify for financial loans. I was shocked to hear that too, and I still have some doubt in the truth of her information. I don't know if she meant just at a university or if she was including credit hours taken at a community college. Whatever the case, I didn't want to take a chance and decided to prioritize with Baylor. Congratulations, I think Brookhaven is a great option too! The tuition is so much more manageable. When does their program start? Financetohealth- "Restless" explains the feeling exactly. I've been checking my GoBaylor account like crazy and still nothing. Let me know if you hear anything! I'm wishing for good news for the both of us. I never looked into Texas Tech's program. Is it all online? If so, I'm not sure I'd be able to hang with that, ha ha. I can get kinda lazy with self-paced courses.

Baylor FastBacc 2012
Yes, that's correct. She had sent me an email to confirm all of the application items that I had and didn't have for submission, and at the bottom she mentioned that all of the items had to be submitted by midnight on November 1st as the committee was set to meet on November 3rd to make the final desisions. She also mentioned that notification letters would be sent out within the next couple of weeks and that depending on the flow of the postal service traffic, we should be have letters by late Novemeber/ early December. Either she was giving out false information, the committee got tied up at last minute, or simply none of us got accepted, but something's gotta give. I hope the latter is not true for any of us and that we all get acceptance letters! We've already busted our backs getting our first degree, so hopefully we can catch a break this time around. Are either of you considering UTA or TWU? I am if Baylor fails, but I'm worried about the whole out-of-state-tuition-for-second-degree-holders thing. If I'm going to have to pay more than double the original price anyway, why waste my time in school when I can get the whole two years completed within one (Baylor)! This system blows! Ha ha, excuse my babbling. This is only my second post and I already feel like I'm getting too carried away!

Baylor FastBacc 2012
Hello, All! I've applied to the May 2012 FastBacc program as well! It seems like the both of are great candidates; can't complain with a 3.8 GPA and a HESI score of a 90.64! My overall GPA was a 3.73 and my overall science GPA was a 4.0 with a cumulative HESI score of an 86 (Math, Grammar, Vocab, Reading, A&p, and Chemistry). I also received an email stating that we should be notified late November/early December. As a matter of fact, my counselor (Erin Mulvey- such an awesome lady!) said that letters should be sent out early next week! I'm so nervous I may not get accepted because I had to apply and take the HESI under such short notice and I'm afraid I make a high enough score. Anyway, good luck and I'm so excited I found you guys here. I've finally found some people who can relate! Have any of you looked into TCU's accelerated program?
