Need help to figure out about the nursing program
Points for TEAS are figured as such: Take reading score percentage & multiply by 5. ( i.e. .87 x 5) Take math score percentage & multiply by 3. (i.e. .90 x 3) If I get in, I will be shocked. I am currently taking 2 sciences and will be be core complete and receive my Associates in May, but can't count any points for any of the above since I was not finished at time of application. Hoping to apply for Spring 2014 entry if I don't have enough to be accepted this go round. Unless I decide to just apply to UT Arlington's online BSN program. Good luck to us all!!

BSN program online- need feedback please
@commonsense- Are you saying you won't learn anything either route, or just with online courses?

Question about experience required
Thank you all so much for your insight. I had been leaning towards the CNA route, but I also was wanting to not work so I could apply all my focus towards my studies...... Sigh. I guess PT as a CNA would work! Thanks again- you've all been so helpful!

Question about experience required
Thank you! So basically, the only option is to secure a GN position in the beginning?

Question about experience required
I apologize ahead of time if this is a stupid question, but..... I am just starting my BSN program- I see all job postings ending with the same "one year experience required" in whatever nursing job it's for. How does a fresh out of school nurse get said experience, or do the clinicals & time in program count as experience? Thanks for all insight!

BSN program online- need feedback please
I have all my prereq's and am debating whether to take classroom program at UT Tyler, or the online program that UTA offers. I am concerned that I won't learn as much by doing my nursing courses online. Can anyone who's in the program give me some feedback & insight? Thanks so much!
