  1. I took the Hesi LPN mobilty Exam this past Thursday and did extremely well. I picked up an NCLEX review book from the local library and studied the disk included in the back of the book for a couple days (mosbys). I focused on the Med Surg, Mental Health, Peds, and Pharm sections. I was nervous and scared about not doing well because my application for the RN program depended on my results. The HESI is used to guage how one will do on the NCLEX, most programs use it at the end of their program as an exit test. Schools do not want their students to take and fail the NCLEX so they make the HESI a requirement before graduating. Hope this was helpful, Michelle
