Hi, silverdragon, about the canada nursing cap, i originally understood that since it is closed for this year, new applications will be accepted only by july 2012. However, when I visited the Canadian embassy site of Manila, it says the embassy has a backlog of FOUR YEARS for immigrant processing. So my question is, how can they have a 4-year processing time for immigrant applications when there is now only a 10,000-cap (500 for every job category) WORLDWIDE? Four years seem to be a long time to process 10,000 papers worldwide, right? Could it be that we do not need to wait for July 2012 to file, and that the embassy just receives applications on first-come-first-served basis? Thank you for whatever enlightenment you can give us. God bless!!!
