Hi, I am a new graduate and need some advice on choosing a new stethoscope for a new job. I will be working as a Medical Surgical Float nurse. Price is not a huge factor, for I plan on using my stethoscope for years to come and want my new job to be easier than harder in areas I can control. I do have trouble hearing with background noise and want my assessments to go as quickly as possible with the help of a new stethoscope. I was interested in a Littman brand. I've read a lot of posts and seems that the electronic stethoscope and the master cardiology are two that I am highly considering. However, I am worried that the electronic might be more difficult to use (have not read to much about how to use this stethoscope though)? Thanks for your help!

ok, thank you for your help. makes my nerves a little more settled for this one job that i am dying for. i wont be done with application until tomorrow (3rd day open, but only a 5 day window period). it also helps me to know for future job applications. thanks again and have a blessed day! :)

Hi, I was wondering does anyone know that when H&R post a job online and gives a window of days to turn in application if your chances of hire go down if dont turn in application at beginning? Basically, is the person more likely to get the job if they get their application first. Or does it not matter and H&R sends job candidates to the hiring nurse manager all at once? Thanks for help!!:)
