Part Time LVN Program In Sacramento???
I am going to be giving birth to my daughter in May. I want to get us our own apartment which means ill have to continue working full time but i dont want to wait for nursing school any longer. Twin Rivers had a part time lvn program that was 23 months long and it was only a few nights a week which would have been perfect but they got rid of the program and cancelled the program they were suppose to start in August! Does anybody know of any other part time lvn programs in or near sacramento that are only a few nights a week??? Sutter one stop has an lvn program all the way in yuba city that is part time but its monday through friday from 5-9pm 18 months long and doesnt start till july 2014. working monday through friday from 7-3pm and then traveling an hour away to go to school monday through friday from 5-9pm with a new baby is not going to work! does anyone have any ideas?! please im desperate! I cant quit my job to go to school because i wont be able to get unemployment either.

Curam College & Charles A. Jones
thanks for your reply vintagemother. Yea thats my current irritation with CAJ, they're very unstructured but they are cheaper and easier to get into than many of the other trade school lvn programs. Last time i checked twin rivers no longer had a program and i think kaplan and carrington were 30,000 to 40'000 where caj is opnly 20,000. which lvn program did you choose???

Info on Charles A. Jones & Twin Rivers?
can anybody give me any info on Charles A. Jones LVN Program AND Twin Rivers LVN program in sacramento? I plan on looking into both when i come back from the Air For Reserve next year. Twin Rivers I heard is cheaper and has a higher pass rate than Charles A. Jones but its two years long and i dont know if i want to take a 2 year long LVN program. Id really like the following info on BOTH schools: 1. How hard was it to pass the actual program as well as the NCLEX after attending either school? 2. How hard was it for you to find a job after graduating and did going to either one of these schools limit your chances at getting an LVN job? 3. Does Twin Rivers have a LVN program that is full time as well as part time? 4. Were you able to work part time while attending Charles A. Jones or did you have to stop working? 5. Did you have to pay (for either school) all the money up front or were you able to do a payment plan? please please please give me as much info about either schools as you can! id greatly appreciate anything!
