No I haven't heard back. I am a new grad though. But I can't find any recent posts on KC hospitals or jobs either. For all the people here the forum seems like a ghost town!

Thank you for that comment. I was just blessed to have awesome clinical instructors who gave me the opportunity to practice in my desired fields for experience. I'm still a rookie though as well :) I will work on the objective, thank you!

I graduated in May 2011 and after getting married and moving to another state im currently in missouri with my license. I have seen SO many samples of different types of resumes and they all seem to list different things. Can yall help with what I should put? Should I have a different resume for each job with more pertinent criteria for each job or just a general resume? My goal is something in womens health, nicu, peds. Thanks! note: it copied weird. Hello all, I'm currently job searching on the MO side of KC and I would like to know if yall could give me some reviews of the hospitals please! I recently applied to St Lukes.. how long does it take to hear back for yes or no usually? What other hospitals would you advise applying to? I would love to work in the NICU or special care nursery ideally, but also L&D would be an option. Obviously I'm not completely limiting myself, just those would be ideal, but ER, surgery, etc would be ok if I'm not having luck. Thanks!

Thanks yall! I finally found the attachment with the "to do" of practicing in MO and called to clarify some things. I appreciate yall's help and man I wish I lived further south! We are in central west missouri, im around warrensburg, lee's summit, and might consider some of Kansas city if I can't find anything.. and right now it's scarce. I really enjoyed working in the NICU for basically 3 months in nursing school. It just became my nitch and i was blessed with an instructor that allowed me to go there a lot for clinicals, but unfortunately it seems everything here that is a specialty you need to have "experience" of at least a year in that field, but as the saying goes.. you can't get it without a first job!!

Hey all, I am a recent graduate of a nursing school in Texas and moved to central Missouri after getting married. I had planned to work in Texas until life changed it's plans and now am a new graduate (May) and am in the wrong state for my license. So... HOW do I get registered to work as a Registered Nurse (BSN) in Missouri??? I know it is part of the compact act and that does make things easier, but I think my brain is just so fogged from stress and moving and life that I've just not got it all together to figure out. So if anyone could lead me in the right direction that would be SOOOOO much appreciated! Also... once I get my license changed is there ANY luck with jobs?!? I've been looking around (we live in central Missouri and i've been looking as far as KS on the south/east area and it seems hopeless. Insight on New Grad positions/when they open up/any advice welcome!!
