Hey Guys! I am from northeast Massachusetts. I am planning on moving to the Portsmouth area in January because I believe the commute will just be too much time and stress in addition to the workload. I have been looking online for apts and room shares but I am nervous to move in with strangers. I was actually hoping to meet someone at orientation that may be in a similar situation that is looking for an apt or a shared living situation. Anybody else in a similar predicament?

Congratulations to all that heard back about acceptance today. I also received my acceptance email and I could not be more excited. I am really looking forward to meeting all of you!

Anyone else heard back from the UNH DEMN program? It has been another week and I have not heard anything. My status changed to "Waiting for final gran review" but nothing else...I'm so anxious to hear!

I wouldnt worry yet. There could be many reasons why they have not contacted us yet. They told me I could hear back in two weeks or as late as the end of October. I might call the secretary of the department on monday however, just to see where they stand in their decision making. Hang in there!

liltenderheart- Congrats! When was your interview? They notified you by email regarding your acceptance. I hope it is not a bad sign that I have not heard either way.... Congrats again that must feel so great!

Anyone here back from the UNH DEM program yet?

Hi guys! I had my interview on October 4. It was not with either of the women I was told I would be interviewing with but I think it went well. I had a hard time getting a sense of how competitive the program is so I am on edge about my chances of being accepted. I was told at the interview that they would make their decision within the department in the next week and then they would pass it along to the graduate school. I have been checking online everyday and the suspense is killing me!
