Hi All!! I just had a phone interview with the PACU. They only have one spot and are still interviewing candidates. I'm super nervous!! Good luck everyone!

Okay I am late in the game. I graduated in August but recently got married and moved to Austin. I need a job and just applied to the residency program today - I know I am cutting it close - the application closes next week! EEk. So what is next? I am waiting on my professor and former boss to send in the reference form. What happens once all of that is complete? I actually applied to a ton of RN I positions not realizing Seton had a residency program so I guess I must have skipped ahead in the process?? Anyhow, I am really nervous because almost every job I have went to apply for requires 6 moths experience! All of my friends from school had jobs within a couple of weeks in Dallas so the Austin job market is definitely discouraging. If someone could please give me some tips or what they have experienced that would be helpful!! Thanks!!

How did you study? I've just started highlighting and taking notes on my computer. Seems to have helped but the final is going to be death!

I couldn't agree more. Besides chemistry Pharm was the worst class ever. I can't wait to be done. I feel like I've barely learned anything. I would have much rather taken a test every week that just taken five. I feel like its just lazy teaching to give your students only five tests. Oh well. We are almost done!!

Did y'all see the post from the academic coach? I am really confused about my grade. Were the test questions thrown out or what? I feel like the grading in this class has been a little unfair. Anyway hopefully we can all pull through and get a good grade on the final!

Does anyone have any advice about the Pharm final? I have a 74 right now and am terrified of taking the final. If I dont get a 70 in the class I cant start the nursing program in January! If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I noticed people saying that the final is based off of the test questions? Does that mean the exact test questions will be on the final? Also, any advice for the patho final?

I applied to the UTA program but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get in. I guess they don't take grade replacements after you've applied which caused me to have a lower GPA. It's okay though because I got in to Texas A&M commerces pilot nursing program. Super exciting. Anyone who doesn't get in to the UTA program look in to the A&M program it's online except for labs and clinicals. I am still take pharmacology and patho at UTA though. Is anyone taking pharmacology? Does any want to start a study group? There is so much information in the modules to study that it's overwhelming.
