Yes, I am a new grad, actually from out of state, which is unfortunate for the hiring situation in Chicago. What about you? have you had any other interviews?? Did they tell you you got the job after the interview?

I interviewed for the medsurg/oncology. Nights What about you? Did they tell you an hourly wage? I was only told differentials.

I just had an interview here, but I didn't know much about the hospital. I would love to get a nurses honest perspective on the hospital, the care given the compensation etc. thank you so much!

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions about where to apply for a new graduate. I have been licensed in IL since the beginning Sept. and applying every day with no luck. I know it is tough out there for everyone esp. new grads but does anyone know of a facility that is willing to hire a new graduate? I would rather not work at a SNF but if thats the only place I can get experience to eventually get a position in a hospital then so be it. At this point I'm willing to consider anything; it's the most frustrating thing to send out so many applications with NO response in return. Thank you in advance for any and all responses.
