    No I have not applied to the unit. I am not a Psych nurse, but am considering doing it if they will hire and train me. But, I also don't want to walk into a terribly managed, non-supportive, non-learning, and dangerous environment also. I have worked in psych as a unit secretary and have seen units like that. I know that there is always an element of unpredictability in psych, but that is different from not feeling safe most days. Have you applied there? are you a psych nurse?
